Paris is a city like no other, most people have strong opinions on the like/dislike of the city and everyone seems to have an opinion on how you should spend you time there. I learned from experience that most of the blogs out there are correct, walk the city. I learned this lesson the hard way, so learn from my mistake and don’t take a tour of the city by bus.

Paris should be experienced on foot, it’s not really about being able to reach every corner of the city and although you may not get time to go into each museum you’d like to visit or have a picnic while watching someone paint on the Seine River you should choose to experience on foot (if at all possible). No matter what you do or how much time you have I promise it will be a better experience than the bus tour I was on (in which I spent my time trying to take pictures quickly through tinted windows as we drove along).

Eiffel Tower-Here’s the link to get tickets to the top.  If you’re trying to find good food it’s best to move away from the Eiffel Tower for the best local cuisine as my much anticipated creme brûlée (my absolute favorite dessert) was less than stellar a few blocks away.
