Austin, Texas continues to be known as one of the fastest growing city in America. It has earned its reputation for its hip, liberal, and funky vibe.

Food & Drinks

Rainy Street is my favorite place to go when I’m in town. Walk into hundred-year old homes that have been converted into bars. Be sure to check out the back of the house before getting comfortable in the rocking chairs out front. Many of the homes have cornhole and other fun activities in the home and in the backyard. As a people watcher, rocking away while sipping some wine is a great way to experience Texas!

Austin, Texas is also known for its food truck scene. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many food trucks throughout Austin.

Activities

The electric bike food tour was amazing! I would highly recommend it if you’re in Austin visiting. It’s a great way to see the city. If you take an evening ride you can witness of bats emerging from the Congress Avenue Bridge. Many running trails are in and around Austin. The energy of 6th Street is a must. Check out the Pete’s dueling piano bar!

The city has so much to offer. To name a few: famous music festivals (ACL), food venues, outdoor activities, and the friendliness of its patrons.  It’s a beautiful city and it’s easy to see why so many people are relocating to become part of this vibrant, growing city.
